XRPUSD Technical Analysis
The XRPUSD technical analysis of the price chart on 1-hour timeframe shows ETHUSD,H1 is retracing down toward the 200-period moving average MA(200) after rebounding to ten-day high yeaterday. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower bound of Donchian channel at 2.0772. A level below this can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 2.1760. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved to the next fractal high, following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level without reaching the order, we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.
Fundamental Analysis of Crypto - XRPUSD
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said the firm reached a settlement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC). Will the ETHUSD price continue retreating?
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said the firm has reached a settlement with SEC staff and plans to reclaim most of the $125M escrowed fine. According to Garlinghouse, after reaching an agreement with SEC staff, the staff “makes recommendations to the Commission, and then the Commission votes. The Commission hasn’t yet voted. But, what we’ve agreed is to dismiss and move on. We had put in escrow a potential fine of $125 million. We’re actually taking most of that back.” The CEO commented that the new SEC and White House administration are “much more constructive, much more pro-innovation.” Dismissal of the $125 million Ripple fine is bullish for XRPUSD price. However, the current setup is bearish for XRPUSD.
